The Detox Experience: Day 2

Two days down and 12 more to go and I’m feeling great folks!

I am amazed at how well my body is responding to the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program and can already tell I have more energy throughout the day.  My lows are typically mid-afternoon and putting the kids to bed.  Both of these were minimal today.

I’m also happy because when I was reading over the instruction guide before I started it mentioned in the FAQ section that there might be bloating, nausea or headaches.  So far, none of these have plagued me.

So you are probably wondering what does today look like for me.  For the remainder of the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program, I am going to update you on:

  • Daily workout and duration
  • Foods, meals and snacks that I have had during the day
  • What kind of beverages I drank and how much
  • Elimination patterns
  • Overall well-being

Each day I will be taking the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program product 5 times per day.  Each of these are 20-30 minutes before either a meal or snack.  These consist of:

Breakfast Detox: 1 Tsp. Rejuve Powder  – Goes down smooth, but a bit gritty
Snack #1 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme – Rather smooth with a little kick
Lunch Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters – This has the strongest taste
Snack #2 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme
Dinner Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters

Here’s the rundown for today:

Daily Workout

Thrive90 Phase III Full Body Circuit – 29 minutes
Indoor football & wrestling with the kids – approx 30 minutes

Today’s Menu

Breakfast:
2 organic egg breakfast burrito with 1/8 C shredded cheese
1/2 C cottage cheese with handful of raw cashews

Snack #1:
Banana and 2 handfuls of almonds

Lunch:
4oz of chicken salad in a lettuce wrap
15 multigrain crackers
5 baby carrots

Snack #2: (this is usually where I mess up by overeating before dinner)
Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich
2oz leftover grilled tuna

Dinner:
Polenta with homemade marinara meat sauce
4 lettuce leaves with roasted garlic & artichoke hummus

Snack #3: (depending on how I’m feeling and how late I’m up)
Banana with peanut butter

Beverages

Approx. 100 oz of H2O.  That’s it for today!

Elimination Patterns

Nothing unusual for me here.  I am fairly regular for the most part, but have noticed an increase in urination due to the amount of H2O that I am drinking.  Honestly, I’m interested to see if my morning-time bowel movement increases over the course of the program.

Overall Well-being

I have had a consistent amount of energy throughout the day.  Tonight I’m looking forward to being awake and ready for some fun with Alisa.  This is huge for me, as I’ve been barely able to make our physical intimacy time together due to fatigue as of late.

My goal this first week is to also get 7+ hours of sleep each night to allow my body the time it needs to recover and rid itself of toxins during this detox period.

    • It’s worth doing Greg. Make sure you do it when you are feeling better though as it can take a bit out of you. Hope you get better soon. I’m looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving with the family. Enjoy yours as well.
