I just had a delicious smoothie. I think I might need to look into some protein powder, though.
Excellent, Nina. The protein will really leave you more satisfied and feeling fuller, and it will help in fueling your fitness and muscular development.
Let us know how you like it once you give it a try!

Had a smoothie similar to this one this morning after my ride. It had coconut milk, almond butter, Pro Grade protein powder, frozen organic strawberries & blueberries. So good! [T]
Tony, I’ve been getting a bit more creative with the smoothies that you have got me started on. I am starting to finish up the bottle of Weider’s 90% Protein Powder and have been to our local GNC store to see what they had to offer. So many options sadly the girl I talked to at the store didn’t seem that educated on the benefits of the different offerings. My kids have been enjoying the smoothies also! Sometimes I add the protein powder to theirs so the can be “just like dad”. My son (10) thinks it might help with his muscles for football, lol. I’m going to spend some more time reviewing the pro/grade website upon your recommendations.
Excellent Randy! Trying out different smoothies is a great way to change it up and keep those taste buds satisfied. I’m with you on the offerings at local health shops. Seems that there isn’t much knowledge on what is in the products they are selling. I’ve tried a number of different ones over the years and I really do like the ProGrade protein. It’s not just the product, but the knowledge they bring to the table to help me understand what’s in it.
So cool to hear the kids are digging the smoothies too. Mine enjoy a variety of smoothies and I even let them pick what they want in it so that the are learning the benefits of healthy eating.
Enjoy and keep me posted.
