Crock pot recipes are always a hit. This beef & bean chili recipe is a great way to prepare chili in a crock pot. It’s also super for tailgating or a potluck.
Following are the ingredients you will need to prepare this crock pot recipe. We are using a Rival crock pot, but any brand will do. To make a crock pot turkey chili recipe, add ground turkey instead of ground beef.

We make chili almost exactly the same in the crock-pot, except I use chili powder, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper in place of the packet of chili seasoning. Sometimes we serve ours over brown rice, too.
Sounds like a flavorful chili Michelle. Going to have to take your suggestion of making some brown rice the next time we have this. Do you use the microwavable brown rice from Trader Joe’s by chance?
No – unfortunately we don’t have a Trader Joe’s in Austin, but our local grocery store does have a microwaveable brown rice that cooks quickly.
I also liked the suggestion for the Greek yogurt on top – we’ll have to try that!
Thanks for all the great videos-we are really enjoying them!!
I’m sure it is similar. The best part is that it is quick and easy to make without a big mess.
We use Greek yogurt as our sour cream substitue now. It’s tastes better and healthier as well. I also like to add guacamole to this when we have some in the house.
