Detox Experience: Day 14 – It’s a Wrap

Wow!!! I can’t believe that it has been 2 weeks since I started my first ever internal detox.  So much has happened over the course of these 14 days. I’m thrilled to say that this has truly changed the way my body feels for the better. My energy level was my main focus coming into this.

I will have to say that I have not felt this good in many many months. I don’t think it was all the detox, but a conscious decision on my part to eat better as well. The two together have changed me.

Today was my long bike ride day and once again I excelled on every climb we did. The last one I turned up the tempo to the point that I left my riding partners behind. Not typical on this specific climb because of how it is laid out. The guys all noticed my power and drive.

Because it was my riding day the detox timing gets a bit messy. Unlike last weekend where I was trying to consume all of my detox when I got home I spaced it out a bit. Read below for details. This was much better and something that you should take notes on if you do a detox and have a long workout in the morning.

Again, my energy and stamina on the bike has exceeded my expectation with the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program. I’m sure this is only going to help me in the months to come with my Thrive90 workouts and bike rides.

For the remainder of the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program, I am going to update you on:

  • Daily workout and duration
  • Foods, meals and snacks that I have had during the day
  • What kind of beverages I drank and how much
  • Elimination patterns
  • Overall well-being

Each day I will be taking the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program product 5 times per day. Each of these are 20-30 minutes before either a meal or snack. These consist of:

Breakfast Detox: 1 Tsp. Rejuve Powder – Took this before Snack #1
Snack #1 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme – Consumed before lunch time
Lunch Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters – Drank this at Snack #2
Snack #2 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme – I had a second snack this afternoon because I was hungry and took this before that
Dinner Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters – Regular time, before dinner

Here’s the rundown for today:

Daily Workout

Sunday morning bike ride – 43 miles, 2430 calories burned

Today’s Menu

During Ride Nutrition:
2 Aussie Bites
1 serving of Hammer Gel
24 oz NUUN Active Hydration Tri-berry

After Ride Recovery:
6 Hammer Nutrition Endurolytes
12 oz Hammer Recoverite

Breakfast:
None.

Snack #1:
Bowl of organic cereal with coconut milk
2 handfuls of almonds

Lunch:
1/4 cheese burger with organic pepper jack cheese on OroWheat thin bread
1/4 cheese burger with organic pepper jack cheese wrapped in lettuce
1 kiwi

Snack #2:
Peanut butter & jelly sandwich
2 handfuls of almonds
1 hard boiled egg

Dinner:
2 servings of creamy polenta with homemade marinara sauce (pictured above)
2 medium size meatballs

Snack #3:
Greek yogurt with granola cereal

Beverages

Approx. 150 oz of H2O
24 oz NUUN active hydration
12 oz Hammer Recoverite

Elimination Patterns

Today of all days I had only 1 bowel movement. I was hoping to go out with a bang, but nope I didn’t.  As for urinating it was a bit slow during the day when my body is re-hydrating from my ride. This evening we decided to watch a movie and man I couldn’t stop going. I got up 4 times in the span of 1.5 hours to relieve myself. Glad to know that I’m not dehydrated any longer.

Overall Well-being

Taking the time to do this internal detox is one of the best things I could have done for myself this year. I urge you to consider doing a detox ASAP. It’s amazing how efficient my body is running right now. Not only for my workouts or businesses, but for my kids and most importantly for my wonderful wife Alisa. She has seen the transformation that has happened these two weeks and is already planning her detox in the upcoming weeks.

As for me, I plan on continuing the eating habits that I have picked up over these two weeks. Proper nutrition has played a big part in my success.
