Detox Experience: Day 10 – Living & Learning

It seems that the last couple of days there is something going on right around my 1st snack time.  Whatever I’m working on is throwing me off because I’m not able to get my detox drink in 20 minutes before my snack.  In turn I’m eating a later snack than usual.

As I write this it’s actually been a good thing now that I think about it.  I’m eating a snack 3-3 1/2 hours after breakfast, which pushes my lunch later, between 12:30pm – 1pm.

This is all good!  I’m not having those right before dinner snack munchies.  Thus filling my gut and then eating more at dinner.  I’m liking the way this is playing out.

We’re still adding new foods to our pallet.  Today Alisa picked up coconut oil, raw honey (this is really good), & vanilla coconut milk.  I’m liking the transformation that is happening and excited by how well my kids are responding.

Today was a good day.  For the remainder of the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program, I am going to update you on:

  • Daily workout and duration
  • Foods, meals and snacks that I have had during the day
  • What kind of beverages I drank and how much
  • Elimination patterns
  • Overall well-being

Each day I will be taking the Supreme Cleanse Internal Cleansing Program product 5 times per day.  Each of these are 20-30 minutes before either a meal or snack.  These consist of:

Breakfast Detox: 1 Tsp. Rejuve Powder  – No problems here
Snack #1 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme
Lunch Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters – This was a bit tough to swallow today.
Snack #2 Detox: 30 drops Scudder’s Alternative & 30 drops Red Clover Supreme
Dinner Detox: 60 drops Sweetish Bitters

Here’s the rundown for today:

Daily Workout

TRX Basic Training – 45 minutes
Indoor football – 15 minutes

Today’s Menu

6 power pancakes with cashews & topped with honey

  • 1 C white flour
  • 1 C brown rice flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 2 C buttermilk
  • 1/4 C oil
  • 1/2 C chopped cashews

Whisk together dry ingredients.  Whisk liquid ingredients.  Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.  Mix until blended.  Cook to your liking.

Add mashed banana to give these pancakes a sweeter taste.

Snack #1:
Handful of Almonds

Lunch: (pictured above)
Bowl of leftover Crockpot chili
1/2 zucchini
15 tortilla chips

Snack #2:
Strawberry Blackberry Smoothie

Blend and enjoy!

Half-pound hamburger with organic pepper jack cheese & avocado on Orowheat thins
1/2 zucchini with hummus
1/2 avocado
1 serving of salad

Snack #3:
Granola cereal with vanilla flavored coconut milk


150+ oz of H2O (it’s getting easy to drink this much each day now)

Elimination Patterns

Two bowel movements like the last few days.  Interesting today I had two more this evening.  Here is something that I find interesting with my bowel movements.  I’ve seen pictures on other websites of peoples bowel movements and they look like they came out of some alien.  I’m not sure what they are using, but nothing of the kind has occurred to me doing the last 10 days.  I’ll say that I feel as though I’m expelling everything each morning.  Unlike yesterday where I couldn’t stop going to the restroom today wasn’t that bad.  I’m drinking just as much as I did yesterday except for the hot tea from Starbucks.  I do notice that on days when I have hot or iced tea my urination frequency goes up.

Overall Well-being

Feeling good, but was a bit sluggish this afternoon.  Part of this was my mental state.  I had it in my mind when I got home today that I wasn’t going to turn on the computer, but rather hang out with the kids and Alisa.  It was good to just let down my guard and relax for a bit.  I had also been wanting to take a nap and after dinner got in 15 minutes before reading to my son.  Glad I took this short, but beneficial down time.
