  1. I think this program is pretty sweet and quick to do for a busy young couple. I have subscribed to your brand new iTunes podcasts and enjoyed all of them so far. Also added you guys on facebook and recommended a few friends to check out your site. Otherwise, I think these workouts could help me get my focus back on a better health regime.     Ok guys, I am a stay-at-home mom of eight children (seven that are 10 and under), so getting to the gym is NOT happening, but neither is getting back to anything that resembles a post-baby body either (my youngest is almost 4 weeks old). I think this program would be awesome for a mom with limited free time without interuptions, and I love the fact that it focuses on getting the whole body in shape, including flexibility, which is one of the things I miss most since gaining weight.

  5. I am really excited about this program. I have it on my wishlist just haven’t had the money to buy it yet. I like the idea of being able to do it at home. I am a mom of two little boys and don’t like to leave them so I can go work out. It just doesn’t fit into our lifestyle. I have always struggled with weight and especially after my pregnancies. My husband works hard physically and does not have an issue with weight but he is very encouraging to me and does join me some. We both think this looks fun to try together.     Thrive90 may be the program that can make the difference in our marriage and life. I overcame bulimia and anorexia about 10 years ago, after abusing my body from age 14 by trying to stay thin. I kicked it out of fear of a heart attack and not being around to parent my children. At that time I started a 7 year marriage where my daughters saw me physically beat and afraid, and my self-esteem go even lower if possible. I was no longer killing myself to stay thin, but in my depression and misery over our life I continued to gain up to a total of 100 pounds over my ideal weight. That is a terrifying number to type. I almost erased it. But I’m not going to. In the last year of that hell, while I was preparing to leave that life, I lost 65 pounds in 8 months by modifying diet in the right and healthy way. With my new shape and confidence I started dating my current loving husband. He was at a similar spot in life and was taking back his fitness and becoming fit and muscular again. We were surprised by a very quick pregnancy and he actually ‘experienced’ a lot of the symptoms with me. That was shocking to both of us since we both had other children and didn’t experience that phenomenon before. We attribute it to our close connection. Between the two of us we have 7 children and in the last 3.5 years have tried many times to maintain and regain our physical fitness. We do good for a bit but limited time is such an issue for us, and we so badly want to be together that we typically put off things we can’t do as a team. I am still 10 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight and 45lbs above my goal weight. He is approximately his goal weight but has lost a lot of his definition and muscle tone. We are both insecure about our bodies and our intimate life suffers because of it. We like it, we want it, but are both uncomfortable in our own skin! A gym membership isn’t realistic for us for many reasons. We would need to drive 15 miles to the nearest one, it’s cost and time prohibitive with our large family, and we want to do everything together but I can’t do a lot of exercises at the gym due to bad knees and painful joints. I kept up regular stretching for years and was still very flexible, but last week I suddenly realized I’ve gotten out of the habit and my flexibility is gone. I feel old and stiff — I’m 36. We’ve tried hour-long exercise programs at home together but it is nearly impossible to do because there is always a child needing something or a small one underfoot, and our only space to exercise is in the main living area. We have found it impossible to eek out an hour or more every day without interruptions. Thrive90 sounds like it will be a realistic way to help us get to where we want and need to be. Even with 7 kids we can keep them otherwise occupied for 15 minutes while we work toward improving us, our confidence, and intimacy.   10. I think this is a fantastic idea that is being publicized in a great way. I have listened to the podcasts and visited the website ( for about a year now, and I love the positive vibe and the real life experiences that are shared between that website and you guys. My wife and I have been married for almost 10 years, and we have a 3 year old son, as well as a 1 year old son. We are both public school teachers, and I coach football and basketball as well. We try to put as much emphasis on raising our kids “the right way” as possible, and we do as many things actively as possible to set an example for them. We actually completed our 1st half marathon on Halloween, and it was the first big athletic accomplishment of her life. The feeling and sense of accomplishment she experienced was a huge boost to her self-esteem and confidence. I have always been active and enjoyed exercise, but we are having a hard time finding time to exercise. We both admit that our marriage is better when we spend quality time together, whether its date night or exercising together. With a full-time 9-5 job and a part-time job on top of that, I not only feel strapped for time, but am also exhausted. Just the THOUGHT of spending 1 hour in the gym tires me!   15. My husband and I have been married for 10 1/2 years with 3 kiddos and would love to spice up our marriage with some exercise time together in the morning before we start the rest of our day. I am not new to weight loss- having lost 80 pounds 5 years ago, but I’ve gained 15 pounds back. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but it feels like a lot and I am self-conscious and just don’t feel very positive about myself anymore and that hurts our relationship.     I am 52 years old and have been a long-distance cyclist since age 21… in Texas. My wife is a former marathon runner and I have run three of them myself back in my 20’s. I have recently been recruited back to my former companay and will return to being an engineer after having been a math teacher for 10 years.
    As an addition to this major career-change, I want to resume regular work-outs as well as commuting to work…which is 12 miles one way……the same time it takes to ride as drive to my 50 mile away teaching job.
    I am excited to return to my old career and want to return to my better days of top fitness. Also, we (my wife and I) are on the cusp of the empty nest syndrome in that we will have three kids leaving off to college this coming August.     I am going to be totally honest and say that we are skeptical… we have reviewed a TON of different programs for us to do as a couple and we are not sold on this one. We tried to watch the demo videos and they skipped often and didn’t download completely. This may have something to do with our own pc or internet settings, but still… it may be a sign of what may come if we purchase. The demos also only have a male to follow, which is anything but motivating for an overweight female that would like to follow along, keep up and stick with the program without being intimidated. While the idea sounds great, we are not convinced that this IT to help the two of us get into shape together and grow closer as a couple. Neither of us have much to lose (10 lbs for him and 20 for her), but we have very busy careers, kids, and extra activities with church, family, etc. that allow for nearly no time (or energy) to work out. So…all that being said, we may be the perfect couple to try your program. We are not going to buy your program, but if we were to try it for free…and be proven wrong…we would be your number one supporter and advertiser of your program!!

We’ve both done intensive exercise programs in the past that were impossible to maintain due to the time they required.   25. Just bought it, can’t wait to try it looks like just the programme we need. With my last pregnancy (#3) I bled until the third trimester making exercise pretty much impossible. As a consequence my weight has creeepd up and now at 9 month PP I am still 12kg overweight with most of the weight around my belly (so not a place I want it to be). With me being so inactive my husband was too and he has put on the pounds as well. We had a gym membership when I was pregnant with #2 and a personal trainer who came to our house when #2 was born, but in our process of going debt free that luxury is not there anymore. Your programme looks like the perfect one for us to get us back to living the healthy vibrant life we used to have together. I think our older kids (5 and 2.5) will join in too, or attempt to anyway.

    I’m glad I am able to get an entry in on time! I really wanted to be able to apply for your test group, however, I was training for a short triathlon at the time. Dustin, if you remember the guest post I wrote for you, you know what happened after the triathlon… I stopped trying! working out was just too time consuming, not to mention expensive. We recently had a baby, so I am up a total of 20+ lbs from my triathlon weight. It’s time to get it off again!

    More than anything, however, I want this for my wife. Since my wife had our second child 4 weeks ago she also has been trying to recover from a C-Section and get exercising again, I even saw her trying to workout with one of those lame exercise videos On-Demand the other day!
